A useful compromise glove when I need some warmth and hand protection but still need to actually operate gear. Much better than wearing a heavy glove and constantly pulling it off. Dexterity matters more than maximum warmth for a huge percentage of hunting situations.
Better weapon and gear handling than bulky insulated gloves.
Useful in cool conditions where bare hands eventually become uncomfortable.
Touch capability helps with phones/navigation without stripping the glove off.
Tradeoff: Not enough glove for serious cold or prolonged stationary hunting.
