The Reaper Windproof Jacket makes sense when cold air moving across the water is the actual problem. Its stretch softshell, fleece lining, integrated face coverage, adjustable hood and hem, and DWR treatment create a much more protective fishing layer than the standard Reaper Sweatshirt. It is still not a waterproof rain jacket, so sustained rain and heavy spray call for a true shell.
Best for cold boat runs and exposed fishing where wind protection matters more than lightweight insulation.
