GTW TAKE
“
A mobile rubber boot for wet lowlands
Research-based assessment: Alpha Agility Non Insulated is a practical fit for moving through wet fields, marsh edges and muddy lowland trails. The adjustable calf and cushioned sole are useful features, but its 5 mm neoprene means “non-insulated” should not be read as a thin hot-weather boot. Match the exact style to the specifications before buying.
Current Bottomland 302474 uses a fiberglass shank, EVA footbed and Agility II outsole; older Gray Sky 302461 uses nylon, OrthoLite and Agility. Do not apply older construction or field reports indiscriminately.
A tall rubber pull-on prioritizes wet-ground coverage; demanding mountain sidehilling and long stationary deep-cold sits call for a different evaluation.
