Overview
An uninsulated 8-inch hunting boot with water-repellent nubuck, a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining, rubber rand, and Crispi Flex 3 construction for mountain hunting and backpacking.
WHAT MATTERS
Uninsulated waterproof construction
GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining pairs with a non-insulated upper for active hunting.
Protective leather build
Nubuck upper and a rubber rand protect the boot around its lower perimeter.
Moderate manufacturer-rated flex
Crispi rates this board-lasted boot Flex 3; ratings are brand-specific.
CCF midsole and ankle support design
Polyurethane Crossbow Frame midsole and ABSS ankle construction are listed; no injury-prevention guarantee is inferred.
Traction with size exception
Crispi x Vibram Megagrip outsole is specified; size 15 is a special build with a standard Vibram outsole.
Replaceable footbed
The Crispi Air Mesh footbed is removable.
GTW TAKE
“
A supportive leather choice for varied mountain hunts
The Nevada Non fits the hunter who wants a full-leather, waterproof boot with more structure than a light flexible hiker. Its 8-inch height, Flex 3 platform and protective rand make a coherent mixed-terrain package. At $450 direct, fit should decide whether that extra structure earns its cost and weight. This is a research-based assessment, not a GTW wear test.
Useful for active mountain hunting and loaded hiking when the last fits your foot.
Not an insulated stationary-cold-weather boot; no temperature guarantee is established.
Size 15 has a different outsole, so do not promise Megagrip across the full size range.
Outdoor Life documents multi-season Nevada Non use, but that historical pair does not establish every detail of today’s production.
