Not glamorous, but a very practical hunting pack when a full backpack is unnecessary. Enough room for essentials without encouraging me to carry half the garage. GTW shouldn’t only feature expensive technical gear. This is a good example of simple equipment that solves the actual problem.
Carries substantially more than pockets without becoming a real pack.
Keeps frequently used hunting gear easy to access.
Works particularly well on shorter hunts or setups where the truck isn't far away.
Tradeoff: Once loads get heavy, the fanny-pack format becomes noticeably less comfortable than a backpack.
