The 46-ounce Rambler makes sense when the priority is carrying a lot of cold water and not thinking about the next refill. It is durable, leakproof, insulated, and easy to drink from through the Chug Cap, which is why the oversized format works well in trucks, boats, camps, and long days outside. The downside is the same thing that makes it useful: once full, it is heavy and bulky. A Nalgene or smaller bottle is the better tool when pack weight matters.
Best for long vehicle-based, boat, jobsite, or campsite days with limited refill access.
